R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman Of Slayer ( January 31, 1964 - May 2, 2013)

image

When I got the text from a friend that Jeff Hanneman of Slayer had passed, I felt sadness beyond belief. Is it true? Is this a death hoax? God I hoped it was false. After all, Slayer IS my favorite metal band and I’ve got quite the history with listening to Slayer religiously throughout my teenage years leading up to now. Slayer to me, is the be all, end all of all thrash metal, next to Metallica.
