Madonna Honors Girl Shot By Taliban By Stripping Down & Scrawling Girl’s Name On Her Back

Leave it to Madonna to get the message out.
Last Wednesday, The Queen of Pop paid tribute to 14-year-old girls education activist Malala Yousafzai, the girl that was famously shot by the Taliban at her Staples Center stop in Los Angeles by scrawling “Malala” on her back. Madonna dedicated her song “Human Nature” to Ms. Yousafzai.
“This song is for you, Malala.”
Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head one week ago in Pakistan while returning home from school. The bullet ended up lodging in her neck but was successfully removed by doctors. She has since been flown over to the U.K. for special care and help to repair her damaged skull.
Sad piece of this all is…the Taliban has vowed to finish her off, one way or another.
“This hurt me to the quick and made me cry. Many of you may know the 14-year-old Pakistani girl who was shot on a school bus for writing a blog about how important education was to her. The Taliban stopped her bus and shot her…Do you understand the sickness and uncertainty of this? Support education! Support women!”
You go Madonna. Support Women & Education!
