Usher & Shakira Join The Voice for Fourth Round

R&B star Usher and Colombian singer Shakira have been chosen.
The two pop stars will replace Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green for the fourth installment of NBC’s hit show “The Voice,” according to the network.
The change up is due in part to Aguilera and Green both working on different projects that will indeed take up their time. Aguilera for new album and Green for comedy series.
Obviously, Blake Shelton & Adam Levine will stay on for the fourth round.
Here’s what producer Greenblatt thinks:
“Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time, and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and Cee Lo. The participants on our show benefit from our coaches’ expertise and their continued success in the music business allows for significant new contributions to the contestants when they return.”
I’m fairly excited for these two pop stars to join the ranks as judge-mentors. I think they can definitely put a new perspective and twist to the show…not that it really needs it but it should definitely be good!
