The Killers Webcast to Be Directed By Werner Herzog

The Killers are set to team up with Werner Herzog.

The band has chosen cult director Werner Herzog to helm their live webcast from New York’s Paradise Theater in Bronx. The show, curated by the American Express Unstaged Series, will stream live @ 7pm on September 18th.

The band revealed some of the plans including a camera strapped to drummer Ronnie Vanucci as well as crowd surfing members of the event.

Here’s what bassist Mark Stoermer said in an interview with Rolling Stone:

“He has ideas for someone crowd-surfing with a camera on. He’s gonna put cameras on Ronnie while he’s playing drums. I think there’s gonna be an animal involved. I’m sure it will be all done the right way.”
